It gives me immense pride and pleasure to welcome you to the Society of Vaginal Surgeons of India (SOVSI) — a dedicated platform for advancing excellence in vaginal and pelvic surgery.
In recent years, we have witnessed a growing recognition of vaginal surgery as a minimally invasive, patient-friendly, and clinically effective approach. Yet, the need for structured training, peer learning, and research in this field remains critical. SOVSI was founded to fill that gap — to empower clinicians through knowledge, innovation, and community.
Our society is not just an organization, but a movement — one that encourages scientific exchange, nurtures surgical confidence, and promotes safe, evidence-based practices across all levels of gynecological care. Through our annual SOVSICON, live workshops, webinars, and mentorship programs, we aim to support both seasoned surgeons and emerging talent in their pursuit of excellence.
As President, my vision is to make SOVSI a vibrant hub of learning and collaboration where every member feels valued, heard, and inspired to grow. I invite each of you to actively participate in our initiatives, contribute your expertise, and together, elevate the standards of surgical care for women across India.
